Fun in falun

Hi blog readers, I'm having some breakfast and thought I'd give a little update on our trip. Falun is a lovely town. It's not very big but its very pretty. I did a running and weights session yesterday in their indoor training facility. Who dropped in to say hi after hearing that I was there??? The one and only susanna kallur! This is her home town and she was on a rest weekend so she wasn't at the track training. It was brill to see her. Susanna is an amazing hurdler, probably the best technical hurdler in the world. Plus she is just a wonderfully, nice person. Terrie and I went for dinner last night in a little Italian and just talked, talked, talked about the different ideas that had come up at the lectures yesterday. Our approach is very similar to the approaches discussed which is nice to know. Terrie and Sean are world class coaches so it's nice to Be here just looking for the little tweak here and there. Today I will do one more session in the great facility here and then we will get a train to Stockholm followed by a night in Stockholm then an early flight back to Dublin. I'll leave you with one last thought, one of the speakers yesterday described running sprint hurdles at world class pace was like "running through a forest, downhill and blindfolded" interesting thought eh?
