A place called falun....
Here I am in a town called falun in the middle of Sweden. In September I sat down with Sean and Terrie to review 2011 and look to a better 2012. There were a few areas that we all decided we wanted to do a little better at and tick some boxes. One item that popped onto the radar was a European conference for sprint hurdles. That's where I find myself now. yesterday Terrie and I travelled here from Dublin. It is not an easy place to get too but thankfully we made it last night. All day today there are loads of lectures on different aspects of the sprint hurdles. Terrie is attending these and then during lunch I will do a training session. This town has a big indoor training complex with an indoor track so im really excited about going to the indoor track. We don't have an indoor full training facility in Dublin so it's nice to have access to one here.
There are 150 coaches from all over Europe here. It's great to see so many people are eager to listen and learn.no matter how good you are at something there are always places to improve. I don't think that a person ever stops learning ways to do what they love a little bit better so hopefully by the end of this weekend we will learn a few things.
For now goodbye from falun, Sweden.
Dor xoxo
